🧶 HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HANDMADE RUG 💕
Your rug was handmade with love! Proper care will help keep it looking fresh and beautiful for as long as possible.
✨ REGULAR CARE
- Gently vacuum using low suction or a handheld vacuum.
- Do not use a vacuum with a rotating/beater brush, as it can pull or damage the yarn.
- Shake the rug outside occasionally to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Avoid pulling on loose yarn. If you notice a strand sticking out, carefully trim it with scissors instead of pulling it.
🧼 CLEANING
- Spot clean only whenever possible.
- Use a clean cloth, mild soap, and a small amount of cool or lukewarm water.
- Gently blot stains—do not aggressively scrub.
- Avoid soaking the rug.
🚫 DO NOT
- Do not put your handmade rug in the washing machine.
- Do not put it in the dryer.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not iron.
- Do not use harsh cleaning chemicals.
💧 IF YOUR RUG GETS WET
Blot away excess moisture and allow the rug to air dry completely while lying flat. Avoid prolonged moisture.
🐾 PETS
Pet claws may snag the yarn, so please use extra care around pets. Do not pull any yarn that becomes loose or snagged.
☀️ KEEPING COLORS BEAUTIFUL
Avoid leaving your rug in strong direct sunlight for extended periods, as colors may fade over time.
